Welcome to the website of ORCCID!

ORCCID is an initiative being taken by JOIFF, The Organisation for Emergency Services Management and CFOA, the United Kingdom Chief Fire Officers Association.
ORCCID stands for “Operational Response to COMAH (Seveso II) and Catastrophic Incidents and Disasters”
The aims of ORCCID are to develop and provide a Mutual Aid Scheme to assist in the mitigation and post incident recovery of ORCCID-type events. Persons who will participate in ORCCID must agree to take responsibility to deliver the work they undertake and to deliver it impartially and on a voluntary basis.
ORCCID will be managed by an Executive made up of representatives of JOIFF and CFOA and it is intended that a Board will be set up chaired by a Member of the Executive and will comprise the Leaders of various Work Streams that will be set up to cover aspects such as legal issues, training and competence, technical aspects, audit and verification, emergency planning including inter agency liaison, operational and tactical issues, media and public interest and post incident recovery.
